Greetings Kolchak Backers! What an incredible campaign it's been!!! And wow... still going strong! A HUGE THANKS to all of you who have come together to help us make the first ever Kolchak: The Night Stalker action figures!!!
For all the new investigative journalist monster fighters who have recently joined us, welcome! We use updates on Kickstarter to communicate to all of our backers and share the behind the scenes progress and work with our factory to make your figures! So stay tuned and don't miss updates, it's super fun to see the figures come to life over the next months.

Greetings KOLCHAK KICKSTARTERS!
First and foremost, a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who have pledged, and come onboard to helps us make these figures a reality. Kolchak is a cult hero that deserves an awesome action figure, and thanks to all of you, we're going to make it happen. What an amazing 24 hours!
We at Wandering Planet Toys are very transparent, we do our best to communicate and love to share the entire process with you, so you know where we are at in the manufacturing, and when you'll see your figures arrive in the post. It is a process. We have some work ahead of us, and we'll take you along for the ride with BTS (behind the scenes) or WIP (work in progress) photos from the factory and all our efforts to get you the best figures possible. So stay tuned and please, share news of this unique Kolchak campaign with all your horror, monster and Night Stalker friends.
We're thrilled to be working with Monstrous Books on this campaign to bring Kolchak: The Night Stalker from the page, to the toy shelf. If you haven't already Kolchak's ongoing comic and graphic novel adventures we highly recommend checking all of Monstrous Books projects out... and speaking of Monstrous... they have just HOURS to go... on the incredible mission of bringing back WEIRD TALES from the great beyond! That's right, Weird Tales are back, with Vol1, more horror and macabre for you! You can check out that campaign HERE.
From time to time, we'll share awesome Kickstarter campaigns with you, as you might have guessed, we are huge fans, we collect toys, we read comics and consume as much awesome fiction as possible, so if we see something cool, we'll share it with you!
NOW.... speaking of COOL! We have had some questions and inquiries into some aspects of our KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER FIGURES. First up, for those curious about the packaging for the Kolchak, single boxed figure... here's the packaging mockup! It features amazing design from our designer Jenny Moore, and incredible hand painted art from our friend and artist Song Riddle. The back of the packaging will feature iconic art from Monstrous Books. The negative or empty space in the package (next to Carl) is where his accessories and figure stand will be included.
Other questions... for the three pack tier, yes, it will include a cool press badge replica and Wandering Planet Toys Lanyard to hang that credential on. The "Three pack" will consist of the boxed Kolchak you see above, and the boxed two-figure set of Blood Splattered Kolchak and Skorzeny. It's basically a bundle. Thanks to all who have pledged for that bundle by the way, it will be a fun one!
Carded BLACK LIGHT EDITION FIGURES! These are going to look incredible, and are perfect for those who like to keep and display their figures in package. For those who have pledged for these, rest assured, these figures will include all the same accessories as the boxed figures and the figure stands. We know the mockup didn't indicate that clearly, but yes, all the figures we make include the accessories regardless of packaging. Also, we make sure the bubble is designed in a way that the figures can stand up right, on their on, on a shelf to be displayed, The Laurel and Hardy we just made in a similar fashion look great.
Finally, if you'd like to hear us talking Kolchak and other toys... we had the great pleasure of having a LAUNCH DAY CONVERSATION with EA over at BIFF BAM POP! PODCAST. What a fun way to bring in the launch day, thanks for having us, hope ya'll can check this out, for more insights on how this Kolchak figure came together!
